THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the state recording an increase in the number of COVID cases, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday came down heavily on the protesters who pose a threat to the society by staging protests in public. While accusing the protesters of violating the COVID protocols, the CM urged the representatives of every political party to consider the issue seriously.
Lashing out at Congress, Vijayan said that the opposition is attempting to sabotage the government's efforts to combat COVID-19. "Some are trying to gain media attention by launching an attack against the government. Though the government has reminded them that nothing is more important than human lives, the opposition doesn't seem to understand this," he said.
