'Good indications in Thiruvananthapuram', says CM Vijayan; State capital clocks 838 COVID-19 cases, 909 recoveries in last 24 hours, 9176 active cases

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The district recorded 838 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, of which 628 cases are through contact. However, 909 coronavirus patients tested negative for the disease in the last 24 hours. The total number of active cases in the district has gone down to 9176 as of today.

The daily count of COVID-19 cases are going down in Thiruvananthapuram, which is a good indication, the CM Vijayan told the media here. He also added that the number of daily infections in the state capital has stayed below 1000 for the past few days.
