THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 5420 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed. Among this, 4693 persons developed the disease through contact including 598 cases without an identified source of infection. 83 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 52 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 5149 patients tested negative for the virus today.
The state recorded 24 COVID deaths on Tuesday with the toll rising to 2095.
