THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the temporary appointments will continue to be regularized if the government comes to power again. Pinarayi Vijayan said that the process of halting the regularization of temporary workers is only for the time being. The CM said that those who are eligible will not be abandoned and that is the policy of the LDF.

There is nothing wrong with regularizing temporary appointments. The regularization took place in posts not left to PSC. No one on the PSC list can be appointed there. Those who have been temporary employees for years have been made permanent on humanitarian grounds.

The stabilization of the temporary employees was halted after realizing that there is a section that was deliberately trying to sabotage the government's actions and not to give chance to those. There will be problems for a few months and the government and the LDF see them as deserving candidates. The people stand with the LDF government. The CM said that if the people bring the LDF back to power, they will definitely adopt the same approach of not giving up temporary workers.

It was decided not to hire anyone now because it should not be a weapon for people who misuse it today. The government will give an accurate answer to the High Court query. The CM said that it was not a matter of special concern.
