Actress Parvathy Thiruvoth has said that in the wake of the rapid spread of the covid 19 pandemic, what we need is some humanity and not Thrissur pooram. The actress has aired her opinion via social media. Sharing a media person’s post on Thrissur pooram, the actress has revealed her opinion through her Instagram story.

“I’m finding it very tough to not use, the most appropriate language here, If you know what I mean,” Parvathy said in her Instagram post. She has also added the hashtag #NOTOTHRISHURPOORA

“Whose festival is pooram? It’s a men’s festival. A confluence of men from different communities. These men after getting the virus from the Pooram grounds and will later give them to women and children in their homes,” —this was the Instagram post of the woman journalist which was shared by Parvathy.
