Evil forces tried to defeat, those who made mistakes should correct it and go forward, says G Sudhakaran

ALAPPUZHA: Many evil forces strived hard to defeat the candidate in the last assembly elections, said G Sudhakaran. Some stuck posters that were not in line with the working class culture and that martyrs and activists would not forgive such people, criticised the minister via a Facebook post.

This party is that of the people. No one who is not able to accept the discipline, dignity, subordination and respect for the leadership of a party that respects the people will have a place in the heart of the party, Sudhakaran mentioned in the post.

He congratulated comrade H Salam, CITU district president and party district committee member, who won by a majority of more than 11,000 votes from Ambalapuzha in the assembly polls. Ambalapuzha is the first constituency in Alappuzha highly influenced by right wing politics. Second is Chengannur and third is Haripad. I was defeated from this constituency for 124 votes in 1987. I was short of 128 votes in Punnapra North panchayat then.
