KOCHI: Actor P C George, notable for his villainous roles in Malayalam cinema, passed away Friday morning. He died at a private hospital in Ernakulam. He has done notable roles in films like Chanakyan, Atharvam, Innale and Sangam.
He was 74. He is a native of Koratty in Thrissur. He will be buried at St Joseph Bethlehem Church in Karukutty tomorrow. He was special branch SP. He has acted in 78 films.
He started his film career through Amba Ambika Ambalika. He had done roles of a cop, villain and character. George has worked with many prominent Malayalam directors including K G George and Joshy. He was also part of many good films. He was not active in films for quite some time due to health issues.
He leaves behind his wife Kochu Mary and children Kanakambali, Kanchana and Saban Rijo.
