KATTAPANA: Consul General Jonathan Sadka said Soumya Santhosh would be an angel for us. He said this while attending the funeral of Soumya, a native of Idukki killed in the rocket attack in Israel. After paying floral tributes, he consoled her relatives.

This is a very complicated time. Her loss is unbelievable to her family. The people of Israel saw Soumya as an angel. He said the Israeli government fully supports the family and that she is a victim of terrorism.

Soumya's funeral will be held at 2 pm at Nitya Sahaya Matha Church under the leadership of Bishop of Idukki Diocese. Idukki District Collector placed a wreath on behalf of the Governor.

Soumya was killed in a Hamas rocket attack on Wednesday. The rocket landed on the roof of a house in the Israeli city of Ashkelon, where Soumya was working as a caretaker. The incident happened when she was talking to her husband on a video call.
