'Fate of Congress will be sealed within five years'; Kerala should not have any hope in VD Satheesan, says K Surendran

KOZHIKODE: BJP state president K Surendran said that the Congress and the UDF will not stage a comeback in the state just by naming VD Satheesan as the Leader of the Opposition. The fate of Congress will be sealed within the next five years. Satheesan is speaking against communalism by colluding with the Muslim League. Surendran also said that Kerala should not have any hope in Satheesan.

Surendran added that the BJP has nothing to do with the Kodakara hawala case. "It is an attempt to trap the BJP in the case. I am sure that the police will not be able to link BJP to the case," he said. He added that he was sure of the issue and that there was no point in dragging him to the case.

Surendran accused the state government of ignoring the family of Soumya Santosh, who was killed in Israel. "The government should be ready to take over the family. It should also bear the child's education expenses," he added.
