Yuva Morcha activists have lodged a complaint with the police against Vinay Mynagappally, a native of Kollam, for spreading fake propaganda against BJP state president K Surendran on social media. Kannur district president Arun Kaithapram and Angamaly constituency president Ajesh Parakka had lodged a complaint with the district police commissioner.

Yuva Morcha leaders have complained that Vinay, the admin of the WhatsApp group '4th Estate Travancore ', which has about 200 members, has spread lies through this group and other social media platforms, thereby defaming and insulting the party and its leaders in the eyes of the community.

According to Yuva Morcha's complaint, Vinay Mynagappalli's allegation that K Surendran and other party leaders worked to divert election funds of Rs 100 crore to the party president's account is completely untrue. The complaint alleges that Vinay is a person who spreads false and defamatory news against high-ranking individuals with the aim of creating anarchy and conflict in the society.
