THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister Veena George has said that three more people in the state have been diagnosed with the Zika virus. Thiruvananthapuram Srikanteshwaram native man aged 53, Palode native woman (21) and a Medical College native woman (30) were diagnosed with the virus. The virus was confirmed in a test conducted at the virology lab of the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
With this, a total of 51 people in the state have been diagnosed with the Zika virus. There are currently 5 patients. None of them are pregnant. They are not admitted to the hospital as well. The health condition of all are satisfactory, the minister said in a press release.
