Timely intervention of SI helped 20-year-old to return home safely

AMBALAPUZHA: A 20-year-old boy who left home after a fight with his relatives hadreturned home safely. The timely intervention of the sub-inspector helped Peter, son of Xavier of Thoppumpady, to return home safely.

Peter reached Purakkad after a fight with his family members. Some people of Mar Sleeva Church noticed him sitting at their premises in a weak condition. They immediately informed the police. On being informed, sub-inspector Martin and cops Dileesh and Robin reached the spot.

The police understood that he had left home after talking to him. The police bought him food. After contacting the councilor of Thoppumpady, they boarded him in a KSRTC super-fast bus. Money to reach home was also given.
