MALAPPURAM: MSF national vice president Fatima Tehlia said Haritha, the women’s wing of the party’s student arm Muslim Students Federation (MSF), did not get natural justice in the MSF controversy. She said before taking action an explanation was not sought from Haritha. However, she said they had not given up hope and what the party had taken was the party's action.

Fatima said Haritha is a headache for the league and references to what Haritha was doing were painful. She said that it was Haritha who led the MSF in many colleges.

Ten of the complainants against the MSF leaders are office bearers of Haritha. A complaint was first lodged with the League leadership and the MSF central leadership. Fatima said none of them had raised the issue outside and that they were disciplined party workers. League is not a party for women and the propaganda personally insulting us was emerging in connection with the case and all that should be stopped, she said.
