THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KPCC has banned leaders from participating in channel discussions related to the DCC reorganisation. The KPCC has directed that the internal affairs of the party, including the DCC list, should not be discussed in the channels. The KPCC leadership has instructed those, including party spokespersons, that the party's stand on the issue will be clarified by the high command and the state leadership. The KPCC also said that action would be taken against those who violate the instruction by participating in channel discussions.

Following the release of the list of DCC presidents in all the 14 districts last night, there was a huge outcry within the Congress. Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala were among those who came out against the list. However, KPCC President K Sudhakaran and Opposition Leader VD Satheesan had rejected this argument. KP Anilkumar and Sivadasan Nair were suspended yesterday for commenting on the election of DCC presidents during a channel show.
