NEW DELHI: The congress high command has warned of severe action over the explosion in Congress in connection with the DCC chiefs list. Despite high command's directive against public statements, there are indications that they are taking the controversy in Congress seriously.

It is heard that the KPCC president was asked to provide details of the leaders who made public comments. The high command is not interested in making any changes in the appointment of DCC presidents, but there are indications that may hold talks with Oommen Chandy and Chennithala. There are hints that the high command has warned of further repercussions if they continue to take a stand against the leadership. Senior leaders of the high command are of the opinion that their complaints should not be taken on merit.

The high command has given full working freedom to KPCC chief K Sudhakaran and opposition leader V D Satheesan. Meantime, it is heard that some from the state has demanded the high command to remove Tariq Anwar from Kerala’s charge.

The notice issued to K P Anil Kumar and Sivadasan Nair said they have been suspended for six months.
