Party Congress draft: CPM politburo meeting begins

NEW DELHI: A two-day CPM politburo meeting has begun in Delhi to discuss the drafting of a political resolution to be presented at the 23rd Party Congress to be held in Kannur next April. The draft will be discussed by the Central Committee later.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and former secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan are among the members who are in Delhi to attend the PB, which is being conducted offline for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. This is Pinarayi Vijayan's second visit to Delhi after becoming the Chief Minister for the second time. But he has no official programs. The Chief Minister will return today as the Assembly is in session.
