Suresh Gopi expresses satisfaction in handing over airport to Adani Group

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Suresh Gopi MP said that he is fully satisfied with the handing over of Thiruvananthapuram Airport to Adani Group. Critics can say anything. If the airport goes forward in a way that benefits the people, all these criticisms will be forgotten, the actor responded.

‘It has not been possible for so long to resolve the hardships of the people's journey? We can see whether it will be possible. A new system has arrived. Critics can say that it has been sold but that is not the truth. Only the execution has been handed over. If the airport continues to function in a way that benefits the people, all these criticisms will be forgotten,’ the MP said.

Emirates and Etihad did not come to Thiruvananthapuram for two or three months at the time of post Covid operations. It is the second largest airport in India. The airport was started by Colonel Godavarma Raja in 1932. There should be changes that are convenient for the people here. That is what development is all about? Passengers should be treated as like how you receive passengers in Mumbai and Delhi, the MP said.
