Five injured after three vehicles collide at Navaikulam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three vehicles collided at Navaikulam in the capital city. The accident happened after a KSRTC bus, a container and a car collided at 28th mile in Navaikulam. Five sustained injuries in the accident which happened Sunday morning at 6.15 am. A KSRTC bus proceeding to Palakkad from Vizhinjam depot in Thiruvananthapuram and a container of Delhi-Baroda road corporation coming to the capital city from Kollam, collided.

The driver's cabin of the container went out of control due to the impact of the hit and collided with the car coming from behind. Witnesses said the gravity of the accident was less as there were only five in the bus. It is learned that all the five injured were in the bus. They were admitted to various private hospitals. No one has been seriously injured
