Plus two student fabricates false gang rape story to avoid going to school

EDATHUA: The complaint of gang raping a plus two student is found to be false. She told her parents that she was gang raped by five when she was returning home from school. Following this, her parents lodged a complaint. However, it has been hinted that she fabricated the false story to avoid going to school.

Her parents had bought her a mobile phone for her online classes. During this time, she became addicted to many games and used the phone always. As she could not avoid using the phone, she told her parents that she doesn’t want to go to school soon after the announcement of opening of schools came. When her parents asked her to return the mobile and go to school, she fabricated the false story.

The police registered a case following the complaint and examined the CCTV footages and also questioned her neighbours. From the beginning, the police understood the contradiction in her statement. Many of the people she named was not in the area at that time. Not only that the tests conducted did not reveal rape attempt.
