Madrasa teacher dies moments after casting his vote in Tirur

MALAPPURAM: A Madrasa teacher who was among the first voters in Tirur, died of a heart attack after reaching back home after casting his vote. Alikanakath (Thattarakal) Siddique (63) who voted in booth number 130 of Vallikanjiram school in Niramaruthur is the deceased.

The LDF booth agent of Kozhikode town booth number 16 also collapsed and died on Friday. Anees Ahmed, a native of Kuttichira is the deceased. In another such incident, Somarajan, a senior citizen from Kakkazhom, Alappuzha collapsed and died after casting his vote.
