Isolated heavy rains will continue in state; Yellow alert sounded in ten districts

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Isolated heavy rains will continue in the state, informed Met office. Yellow alert has been sounded in ten districts. Yellow alert is in all districts except Thrissur, Kannur, Kasaragod and Palakkad.

The Met Office has forecast heavy rains in the hilly areas. Authorities have asked the fishermen to be on high alert. A new low pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal a day after tomorrow. It is also likely to gain strength over the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rains will continue in the state for the next five days.
