Four killed, three injured after lorry carrying timber overturns

KASARGOD: Four people were killed after a lorry carrying timber plunged into a ravine. Three people suffered injuries. The incident took place near Panathur in Kasargod. It is learnt that natives of Rajapuram, Panathur and Kunduppally died in the accident. The lorry driver also died.

The lorry overturned upside down. The primary conclusion was that the accident was caused by brake failure. Locals and the fire force carried out the rescue operation.
