PALAKKAD: Police have registered a case against the principal, teachers and students of the Pattambi Government Sanskrit College for organising a DJ party at the college by violating Covid norms. The DJ party was held under the leadership of the final year students. Over 500 students attended the party.

Meanwhile, principal Sunil John said that Covid norms were not violated and that only 100 students were allowed to attend the party. The principal intervened and stopped the party as soon as the footage of the event came out. Sunil John said that the program, which began in the morning, was stopped in the afternoon. The DJ party was organized at the college with more than 500 people in attendance, despite the Health Department's stern directive not to allow more than 50 people to attend public events.
