Further investigating report submitted in court; setback for Dileep, prosecution rejects two of his demands

KOCHI: The crime branch submitted the further investigation report in the actress attack case, in the court. The report was filed in the trial court. Director Balachandra Kumar had come to the fore with crucial revelations in the case. It is in this context further investigation is underway.

Actor Dileep, the accused in the case, had demanded the visuals of the actress attacked and a copy of the further investigation report in the case. The prosecution opposed two of his demands.

The prosecution informed that they cannot produce the footages which is in the hands of the investigating officer. As there is a possibility to misuse the footages, the defendant requested to submit them in the court.

The investigating officers could not tamper the footages. It is kept safe. Investigators said there was no need to submit them in the court at this stage.
