KOCHI: The argument on the anticipatory bail plea filed by actor Dileep in the case relating to allegedly hatching a conspiracy to kill the investigating officers in the actress attack case, is continuing. The claim that Dileep tried to influence the witnesses is serious, the court clarified.

The police have the right to investigate the case. The court said the question is whether he is needed in custody and to see what evidence is there against Dileep. The prosecution informed the court that Dileep's people were trying to influence the witnesses coming to testify.

The prosecution said there is digital evidence for the allegation levelled by director Balachandra Kumar that a conspiracy was hatched to threaten the investigating officers. The life of the investigating officer is in danger. He is even afraid to go to the trial court. The government also asked the court to protect him.
