Lalitha met Dileep in jail for this reason

Dileep and Kavya Madhavan were the first to reach hearing the death of veteran actress KPAC Lalitha. The two were there for hours and left after consoling the actress’ son Sidharth.

The two families were very close. The veteran actress had once said that after Bahadur in Malayalam cinema, she is obliged to Dileep. She revealed this in an interview given to Kerala Kaumudi Flash Movies.

‘Dileep has been there on my side whenever I was in hard times. It was Dileep who helped when I was facing a financial crisis. This happened during the time of my daughter’s wedding. Sharing pain with him is a great relief for me. No matter what anyone says, I can never forget him.’

When I was returning after a show from Dubai, Dileep was seated next to me. After hearing my sad stories, Dileep could not sleep during that four-hour long journey. We got closer after that trip. Later he was there for me always.

I should meet my friend who had helped me the most during his hard times. That is why I visited him in jail. I consider him as my son, she said.’
