'Work later, let's practice kolkali first'; women employees of govt office seen practicing kolkali during working hours

PALAKKAD: A controversy has erupted after a group of women employees in a government office practiced 'Kolkali' during duty time. The women employees of the Palakkad GST office practiced kolkali during working hours. The incident took place at around 3 pm the other day.

The employees were seen practicing the folk art while hundreds of files were remaining pending in the office. They abruptly stopped the practice after noticing that someone was recording the video. The video of the kolkali practice is being widely circulated on social media. A large number of people have come forward criticizing the employees.

Social workers have lodged a complaint with the district collector against the negligence of the employees.
