Lucky draw of Vishu Bumper held; ticket sold in Thiruvananthapuram gets first prize of Rs 10 crore

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The lucky draw of Vishu Bumper of Kerala state lottery was held here Sunday. The lucky draw of the Vishu Bumper BR 85 series bagged first prize of Rs 10 crore to ticket number HB 727990, held at 2 pm today. The second prize of Rs 50 lakh was for the ticket IB 117539.

The ticket sold in the capital city bagged the first prize. The ticket was sold by agent Girish Kurup. The ticket for the second prize was sold by agent Devanand in Cherthala. 12 people will get third prize of Rs 5 lakh each. The Vishu bumper tickets are sold for Rs 250 across the state by registered agencies. 43,69, 202 tickets were sold on the whole. A total of 43,86,000 tickets were printed. This is almost double the number from last year. Only 22,80,000 tickets were printed last year and everything were sold out.
