KOCHI: As part of the start of the new academic year, students and teachers will be able to travel on the Kochi Metro on June 1 for free. For this, students and teachers have to present their identity cards at the counter. Free travel is available for students in grades one through plus two.

Also, wedding photoshoots are now allowed on the Kochi Metro. For this, one has to pay Rs 5,000 to book a coach for two hours on the train.
