KOZHIKODE: The expensive baby python that was brought to act in a short film is now the special guest of Subhiksha's house. Subiksha and her husband Aby Eldararo bought the African Ball Python for the short film 'Santo', in which a horse plays the main character. The couple named the python Boe, the name used in the movie.

The short film was, however, postponed due to inclement weather. Following this, other animals were sent back. However, the couple did not want to let go of Boe. Subiksha and Aby had bought the python from Athul, who sells pets in Kozhikode. Athul had brought in Boe from Delhi.

Subhiksha works in the field of advertising films. Subhiksha and Aby Eldararo are living in a rented house near Parambil Bazaar, a short distance from Kozhikode city.

"Boe is very calm. Does not bite anyone. He needs to rest after eating. Otherwise swallowed creatures will come out. He eats small creatures like mice. He'll get angry if he does not get food on time," Subiksha said.
