A request to SC, women should be given six years leave to take care of children

Director Alphonse Puthren said mothers should be given compulsory leave to take care of their children for at least for six years. He shared a post on social media as a request to the Supreme Court.

He said the six-year leave is to look after the child which is the future of any country and during that time it is the duty of the government to supply all necessary basic necessities for the mother.

The six years leave is to look after the child which is the future of any country. The heat or warmth cannot be substituted by anyone other than the mother. If the leave is given officially, it will be good for the country. I don’t think the Supreme Court, government, hospitals, press or any working parents will look after their children.

One might think that the British should not give leave to Indian mothers. Here in India all mothers are a queen. So the Supreme Court should look into the matter.
