Nayanthara invited me for wedding, but I refused to go, says Dhyan Sreenivasan

Wedding updates of lady superstar Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan have been flooding the social media for the past few days. Numerous actors attended the wedding ceremonies, which took place on June 9 at Mahabalipuram. However, actor Dileep and director Sathyan Anthikad were the only Mollywood presence at the occasion.

Now, actor and director Dhyan Sreenivasan has come up with an interesting response to the question whether he was invited to Nayanthara’s wedding or not. Nayanthara was the heroine of Dhyan’s first directorial ‘Love Action Drama’. Nivin Pauly played the male lead in the movie.

“She invited me for the wedding. But, I refused to go. I told her that I was busy with all the interviews and press meets,” Dhyan said jokingly.

Dhyan is currently writing screenplay for a movie by Shahad Nilambur. “This movie is very different from ‘Love Action Drama’. Back then, when I was directing, I had a bad reputation. There were a lot of bars and drunk scenes in Love Action Drama. Censor board also told me the same. It was a movie made out of desire,” Dhyan said.
