Just five months left; Hangouts service only till November, users only need to do this to download data

Google Hangouts, the messaging app is shutting down its service. The company suggested that existing Hangout customers to switch to Google Chat. In October 2020, Google announced that they will stop Hangouts operation. Google has asked its users to migrate to Google Chat as soon as possible.

Hangouts service will be available till November this year. Before that, Google had made it possible for customers to download the required data. Google will replace Hangouts with a new app called Google Chat. But the makers claim that Google Chat will be very different from the previous G-Chat. Google Chat was earlier known as Google Talk.

Google has announced that Google Docs and Google Sheets can be edited via Google Chat while chatting. Meanwhile, Google has announced that it will soon be releasing new updates aimed at people chatting in Gmail Inbox, Google Space and Google Meet.
