LONDON: Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic won the Wimbledon Grand Slam men's singles title for the fourth time in a row. In the final, Djokovic defeated Australian player Nick Kyrgios in a four-set battle to win the seventh Wimbledon title of his career. This is Djokovic's 21st Grand Slam title in his career.

After losing the first set against Nick on Centre Court yesterday, Djokovic came back in spontaneous style to win the next three sets. Nick Kyrgios won the first set 6-4. But by winning the next three sets 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 respectively, Djokovic secured victory against his closest friend on his favorite court.

When the Australian government deported Djokovic, who came to compete in the Australian Open in January, for not taking the covid vaccine, Nick publicly came out in support of Djokovic. After that, the two became close friends.

Djokovic and Nick's Instagram chat about going to a night club after the match went viral. This was Nick's first Grand Slam final.
