16-year-old Hindu girl kidnapped, forcefully marries her off to Muslim youth in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: A 16-year-old Hindu girl was kidnapped and then forcibly married her off to a Muslim youth. The incident happened in Pakistan's Sindh province.

The girl was abducted from Qazi Ahmed city of Sindh province. Soon after the incident, the Hindu community protested in front of the house of former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari. The protests were to get support from Zardari. Relatives also alleged that after abducting the child, she was converted to Islam.
