Mani’s note on Facebook came after he made it clear that he stands firm on his remarks against slain T P Chandrasekharan’s widow and Vadakara MLA K K Rema. “I can criticize you and you can criticize me”, he wrote.

Meantime, Mani had earlier said that if he comes to assembly, then he would have to face criticisms again. “I have no regrets about the statement. If Rema has been hurt, then what should I do? Rema had been criticizing Pinarayi for a year. She even called the chief minister a murderer. I did not intend to hurt, but will not correct it”, said Mani.
