THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader Mullappally Ramachandran said that he was sad that he was not able to attend the Chintan Shivir organized by the KPCC. Mullappally, who said that he will inform the reason for not participating in the event to Sonia Gandhi, added that he was not ready to publicize the reason for his absence through the media.

Meanwhile, Mullappally welcomed the announcements made at Chintan Shivir. "The party will be able to reach the desired destination. Everyone should be kept together in times of crisis. The party should not take the stance of letting anyone go," Mullappally said while speaking at the C Raveendran Memorial program.

Senior Congress leaders Mullappally Ramachandran and VM Sudheeran had not participated in the Chintan Shivir held in Kozhikode. Following this Opposition Leader VD Satheesan said that the party would investigate why senior leaders like Mullappally Ramachandran stayed away from the Chintan Shivir.
