Riyas is intolerant, minister is giving contradictory answers when queried about poor condition of roads: VD Satheesan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan has lashed out at Public Works Department Minister Mohamed Riyas. Satheesan also said that Riyas was giving contradictory answers to the questions regarding the poor condition of the roads.

"Riyas is taking questions and criticisms personally. When I said that the potholes in the roads should be closed, the minister replied that the hole in the mind of the opposition leader should be closed. No one is going to die because of a pothole in my mind. However, the potholes on the roads are dangerous and should be closed," Satheesan said.

"Even the High Court has criticized the government regarding the poor condition of the roads. However, the minister is saying that the opposition should not raise criticism against the government. Questions are being asked to Riyas because he is the Minister of Public Works Department of Kerala," Satheesan added.
