Customs bust gold smuggling attempt, man hides gold in rectum in capsule form

MALAPPURAM: The person who smuggled gold mixture in capsule form worth around fifty lakh rupees has been arrested. During the inspection conducted by the Kozhikode Customs Preventive Department at the Karipur airport, one kilogram of mixed gold was recovered from the possession of Malappuram native Ali. It is worth fifty lakh rupees and he was trying to smuggle it in capsule form in four packets hidden in his rectum. The investigation was carried out following a tip-off.
