Youth stabbed to death in Kochi, two injured

KOCHI: A youth has been stabbed to death in Kochi. The dead has been identified as Shyam (33), a native of Varappuzha. The incident took place at around 2 am in Kalathiparambu Road near South Bridge, Kochi. Two people have sustained injuries in the conflict.

According to reports, an argument among a group of people had resulted in the conflict. Meanwhile, Shyam got stabbed in the chest with a knife. The youth died on the spot.

One of the injured is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. The other person has reportedly fled the place. The police have begun an investigation into the incident. Shyam’s body has been kept at a private hospital in Ernakulam.
