NEW DELHI: The plea seeking immediate action to prevent increasing stray dog attacks in Kerala will be considered by Supreme court on Friday. The bench headed by Chief Justice UU Lalit is considering the petition. The petitioner informed the present situation of the state in the case which was earlier under the court's consideration.
Petitioner Sabu Stephen's lawyer informed the Supreme Court that eight people died due to stray dog bites in Kerala in the month of August alone. The lawyer told the court that two of them had taken anti-rabies vaccine and many others, including school students are still being bitten by stray dogs. The court then decided to consider the petition urgently.
