NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court is likely to consider today the plea filed by the CBI challenging the high court verdict acquitting Pinarayi Vijayan in the SNC Lavalin case. The case will be considered by a bench led by Chief Justice U U Lalit. The case is listed to consider at 2 pm.

While considering the case earlier, Justice Lalit had directed the CBI to provide strong evidence. The court had that time pointed that a trial can be ordered only if there is strong evidence as the courts had given the same verdict. The CBI's plea in the case, which has been postponed 30 times, is being considered today.
