Film, serial actress Reshmi Gopal dies

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actress Reshmi Gopal, who played the role of Saramma and charmed the family audience, in the serial Swantham Sujatha, passed away. She was 51. She felt unwell when she went to meet her relative two days ago. She died on Sunday while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Born and brought up in Bengaluru, she entered the acting field through ad films. She has acted in many serials. Apart from this, she has also acted in Tamil and Malayalam films. She leaves behind her husband Jayagopal and son Prashant Keshav. Serial and film stars Kishore Satya and Chandra Laxman condoled her death.
