KSRTC woman conductor misbehaves, audio surfaces, complains Kollam native

KOLLAM: Shibu Abraham, a resident of Pathanapuram in Kollam complained that the KSRTC employees misbehaved with him. The complaint is that the female conductor of the bus spoke badly and that the driver tried to manhandle him. The incident happened yesterday in the bus going to Tenkasi from Kottarakkara depot.

The audio related to the complaint has surfaced. In the audio, the complainant can be heard saying that the female conductor constantly quarrelled with the passengers. When he started to record this on his phone, the conductor got angry and had an argument with him. The conductor said that he is not authorized to record and the bus will not proceed without deleting it. They also demanded to call the police. However, the complainant said the conductor is unnecessarily fighting with the passengers and asked her to call the police. The complaint also mentioned that the driver stopped the bus on the road demanding to delete it.

The KSRTC has started an investigation on the complaint lodged with the Punalur DySP and KSRTC MD.
