snakebite

KANPUR: A person who wrapped a snake around his neck while posing for reels met a tragic end as the reptile bit him. The deceased is fifty-five-year-old man named Bajrangi Sadhu. He lives in Baniya Khera village of Kakori in Lucknow who makes a living by selling cosmetics on a handcart. Sadhu was bitten by a snake that entered the shop of Subedar, who ran a puncture repair shop in this area.

When Subedar tried to kill the snake that had entered the shop, Bajrangi stopped him and caught the snake, put it in a box and took it out of the shop, saying that killing the snake would invite sin. At this time, the locals who had come to know that the snake was trapped in the Subedar's shop expressed their interest to see the snake. Then Bajrangi opened the box and started the show. Some people who were interested in making a reel asked him to hold the snake in his hand and wrap it around his neck. Bajrangi was suddenly bitten by the snake while posing for the reel makers. He was admitted to a trauma center in Lucknow after being bitten but died late on Friday night while undergoing treatment.
