THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Premanan, who was brutally attacked by a number of KSRTC employees at the Kattakada depot, has lodged a complaint with the Chief Minister and the DGP alleging that the police are not arresting the accused in the case. Premanan, who reached the secretariat yesterday afternoon, handed over the complaint to the CM's political secretary P Sasi in the absence of the chief minister. He then handed over a complaint to the DGP.
Premanan filed the complaint against the action of the Kattakada police and the special investigation team, which failed to arrest the accused nine days after the incident. In his complaint, Premanan demanded that a case should be filed under the SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Section as the accused have stated in their bail application that they know him. The Additional District Sessions Court will consider the bail application of the accused on Wednesday.
