GANDHINAGAR: Four foreigners suspected of trespassing in Muttom Yard, a high-security area of Kochi Metro and graffitied metro coaches, have been arrested by Gujarat police. Foreigners Gianluca, Sasha, Daniel and Paulo were arrested by the police. Similar to Kochi, the group also graffitied the Gujarat Metro.

Before the inauguration of the Gujarat Metro, the group defaced the coaches with paint. Last May, the gang allegedly painted on the coach of the Metro coach at the Aluva yard of the Kochi Metro. The police did not get any clue about the people behind this. Kochi Metro first tried to hide the incident. But Kerala Kaumudi was the first to bring out this information that day. After that, the investigation was intensified. Suspicions were raised whether terrorist forces were behind the incident.

Those who have been arrested are suspected to have done graffiti in other metros of the country like Jaipur, Mumbai and Delhi before. Earlier, a similar incident took place in Bengaluru and Chennai. The group is known as Rail Hoons. The police are also investigating how they are trespassing in highly secured places. The arrested group came to India from Dubai on visiting visas. She also visited Mumbai before arriving in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
