'Kodiyeri is the name of an era, he was everyone's problem-solving cell'; KT Jaleel comes up with a heartwarming memoir

Former minister KT Jaleel has come up with a heartfelt memoir about late CPM senior leader and Politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. Taking a trip down memory lane, Jaleel remembered his first meeting with Kodiyeri in Valanchery after he was ousted from Muslim League. He also remembered that Kodiyeri's words that 'Jaleel will not be isolated, the party will be with you' gave him great energy.

'He had helped me obtain the approval of the party committee without delay on matters of policy. He always responded positively whenever the problems of the backward minorities were brought to the attention. The leadership of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Kodiyeri's team was amazing. Kodiyeri was the problem-solving cell for everyone,' Jaleel wrote on his Facebook page.
