Shashi Tharoor responds to KPCC President’s ‘trainee’ remarks; says he is a trainee with 46 years of rich experience

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Shashi Tharoor has responded to KPCC President, K Sudhakaran’s remarks that he is a trainee, in the background of the Congress Presidential election. Tharoor said that he is a trainee with a rich experience of 46 years.

The Thiruvananthapuram MP said that the campaign in the states was not neutral or transparent. The guidelines given for campaigning were not followed. Those who hold party posts went for campaigning in violation of the guidelines. He said that he will get more than a hundred votes and added that the number of votes doesn’t matter.

Tharoor was speaking to media persons at the Thiruvananthapuram airport ahead of the election to the Congress party’s top post.
