Left leader tries to insult woman after forcibly taking her in BMW car, accused also carried gun

THRIKKAKARA: A case has been registered against AITUC National Council member for allegedly abducting a woman after arriving in a BMW car with a gun and then trying to harrass her. The case is against CS Vinod, hailing from Kattamatam Road in Vattathipadam in Chembumukku, a leader of AITUC unions in new generation banks. The man has gone into hiding. His gun license has been revoked. Action was taken based on the woman's statement that there was a gun in the car.

The woman, who runs a bakery in Chembumukku, was forcibly taken in a car at 8 pm on Saturday night. The accused tried to insult her in front of the Chembumukku Church. When the woman made noise, she was dropped at the Chembumukku bus stop. Vinod regularly buys things from her shop. The woman said that the purchased items are usually taken to his car.

Following the woman's complaint, the police checked the accused's house. The police believe that his luxurious house, car and the people who come to the his house at night are suspicious.
